Workshop Description
This workshop is designed for those who have at least attended foundation Schema Therapy training (level 1) and are seeking to further develop and fine tune skills. The workshop will specifically focus on developing skills to deliver new Imagery Rescripting & Chairwork protocols (e.g. Current Life Imagery Protocol, Pattern-Breaking Imagery). Attendees will also learn a framework for overcoming stuckness in the presentation of strong Inner Critic Modes including so called ‘super-critics’ (e.g. this includes those that present with ambivalence in ‘getting rid’ of their critic mode). Furthermore, attendees will develop further skills in formulating and managing difficult coping mode presentations such as the new “pseudo-vulnerability” modes (e.g. complaining protector, victim/pity mode, helpless surrenderer and others), and those with chronic treatment-resistant avoidance and other rigid (Cluster-C) mode presentations.
14-hours of CPD 8-hours Didactic Lecture based learning 6-hours Dyadic (role play, skills practice)
These hours can be counted as 14-Hours of Schema Therapy Continuing Education Credits (CE) as set out by the International Society for Schema Therapy (ISST). Can also be used towards ISST Individual Certification for those that need to extend their time limit beyond 3-Years.
Target Audience
Ideally, Schema Therapists who have already attended both Level 1 (Foundations), and Level 2 (Advanced) Schema Therapy Training. Those that have already completed Level 1 but not Level 2 are also welcome to join. For those seeking accreditation, Level 1 and 2 schema therapy training is required with level 3 being recommended.

- Learn new experiential protocols that have been published in the past few years to cover various clinical scenarios and presentations (not covered in Level 1 and Level 2 Foundational Training).
- Improved skills and knowledge in intervening with treatment-resistant Inner Critic (Parent) Modes.
Develop skills in formulation and treatment of chronic treatment resistant ‘stuck’ modes, specifically in relation to pseudo-vulnerability modes, and other ‘Cluster-C’ presentations
